Grandma Becks

Whenever I get home I love to go see my Grandma Beck. I wish I could spend more time with her but there is usually too many to see and too little time. I have so many fond memories of going to her house. Going arrowhead and mushroom hunting with my dad, building mini farms and towns in the dirt, playing with my cousins who lived across the road, climbing trees that were really space ships. Oh what a wonderful time childhood is. It was nice to see my children playing with their cousin the way we would have as kids. I gave Kim my camera, told her to take a bunch a pictures of Grandma's property. She did an amazing job, here are a few.

I am working on some new signs and pictures, that I hope to share with you soon! Have an amazing day!

  1. Christina, What great memories! There's nothing better than being able to pass that on to your own kids by giving them the same experiences. Kim did a wonderful job with the camera! I have so many fond memories of my grandma's home in Ohio too. The houses and barns in Kim's photos look alot like the ones around my Grandma's home... makes for a little homesickness. Vicki

  3. I love the pictures of the farm! I also feel honored to be indirectly mentioned - living across the street from Grandma was always so nice, and we loved having you guys come and play. I know she loves it when the grandkids come to visit. Kim's pictures really capture the rustic, homey feel of the farm. This was a great post!
