Reality...

My house is a disaster, I have been so neglectful. I am trying to fill some orders as I have new ones coming in. This is what my kitchen looks like. This is where I paint, no hidden/glamorous work room for me. I share it with the pizza we just had for dinner. Oh I hope we don't have any surprise visitors.

Sunday at The Shops

As you can see the booth has had some much needed attention. I brought over more display pieces and plenty of signs. Speaking of signs ALL Fall signs are 50% off, so if your nearby stop
on in.

Remember the door? Well here it is, a fresh coat of paint, some chicken wire and burlap. It works great hanging signs on.

I have started bringing in some Christmas/Winter signs.

Have a wonderful evening.

Holiday Signs

Since you all had to twist my arm so I would share some holiday signs :) Here ya go! I really enjoyed making these and they are so versatile. They are small enough that they can be hung anywhere, on your wall, on your tree even on a wreath.

Not sure why Blogger loaded them sideways??? Sorry

I think this is how I may display them in my booth hanging from a mini tree

Well what do you think, do you have a favorite?

Weekend Finds

The weather was beautiful this weekend so I managed to squeeze in some shopping. I picked up a great desk, wreath, books, brackets, vintage frames and a cute little angel. I picked up the books to use for Halloween, Joys of Home used some and wrote spells, potions etc on the spines. I wanted to do the same, however when I got them home they are old hymnals ( I didn't even open them before I bought them and didn't pay any attention to the covers.) so I don't think that would be right to use them for that. They have great patina so I will just keep them around, unaltered.

One of the frames had an old picture she is a bit mysterious/creepy. We hung her in the living room for Halloween.

The cute angel...I just love this.

I have been working on Christmas signs, do you want to see them or is it too early?

Oh I forgot today was the linky party at Flea Market Style...http://fleamarketstylemag.blogspot.com/
Go check out everyones great finds.

Chair Makeover

Here is our dining room...

Remember these chairs?

The chairs and the room got a mini makeover. I am so into zebra right now. No idea why but I thought this would warm up the room a bit for winter. I may need to paint the walls a new color.

I picked up some great stuff today, I will share with you a bit later, promise!

Autumn Blessings

I wanted to replace the Welcome Topiary I had painted on the picket fence. It covers our not so attractive chain link gate. With fall here I wanted something more fall like. Here is what I came up with. Whimsical stacked pumpkins wishing everyone autumn blessings. I have another window frame this size and I am already planning a winter snowman. I know it seems very early for those thoughts but I have already started getting Christmas orders. It will be here before we know it.

I picked up these great dining room chairs today. If you remember I showed my dining room and all my chairs had white slipcovers. I wanted something a bit different, these will be a nice addition. Hopefully i will be able to share the transformation soon.

Hope you all have a great evening!

Pumpkin Patch

We went looking for the perfect pumpkins

Makayla found hers, I picked out one for Kimberly and Jonathan as they didn't want to go.

Giving her mini pumpkin some paint

We also painted on some slate we had laying around.

Makayla's RIP tombstone.

It was a nice day off from work and school.

Table Transformation

Remember the pine table I picked up at a garage sale Saturday? Well she got the coat of paint.
Remember the candle holder you all gave me great advise on?

The Candle holder got a coat of cream paint and some distressing. I really like it like this but I may still add a saying when I find the perfect one.

The table in all her glory.

They actually work well together.

There is no school or work today, YEAH! So we are going to the pumpkin patch and maybe do some junking.
