Vintage Dresser

Have you seen the latest issue of 100 Decorating Ideas under $100? Well I fell in love with the furniture piece on page 27 using vintage buttons. Isn't it lovely.

Well I found this dresser on the curb a few weeks ago and of course knew it had potential. Missing the top drawer again, Chris just cut it down like we did with the other dresser.

After a fresh coat of paint, some distressing,

and of course some buttons for each side,

I have my own version for way less then $100.

A beautiful Vintage Dresser!

  8. First of all, I'm amazed at what people discard these days - despite the missing top drawer, that dresser has so much character! And second, I can't believe you'd think to just cut down that missing space - genius. And third, what a romantic and creative touch those buttons add. I love this!!

  18. Ok, this one has caught me off guard. How is it that I envisioned doing something similar to a dresser I have without even seeing the vision online first? I have NO idea. But when I do what I want to it, I'm linking yours up to my post too. Unreal.

LOVE how you cut the dresser down. That is brilliant!
