I came across this end table. I loved the legs and carved detail. The price was right, FREE. It knew it had great potential. This is exactly how I got it, there was no top. Fine with me. I had a crate that would make the perfect top.
I cut the crate up to fit, stained the top and painted the table.
Just look at the detail!
Love it! I took these pictures today while it looks nice out it was actually in the thirties and had just started to sleet/snow. Gotta love upstate New York!
I am linking up to Between Naps on the Porch's Metamorphosis Monday ,DIY Show Off and Miss Mustard Seed Creations Furniture Feature Friday.
Beautiful, Christina! You're right, the detail is wonderful on this table. Love how you did the top. It was really chilly here today, too. I think the high was 57 and tomorrow it will be 58 ~ a bit chillier than what we've been having recently. But, thankfully, no snow! : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love it!

ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder why people throw away such a beauty to buy something NEW???? This proofs one more time that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder and how good for people like us, that there are people out there who give away such treasures!
A warm hello from Germany
