un, deux, trois a sweet dresser redo...

I am participating in Show and Tell Friday ...

http://romantichome.blogspot.com/

Here is a sneak peak...I was at my Aunt Karen's and Uncle Harold's a few weeks ago and my uncle mentioned seeing a dresser on the curb. He thought it looked in decent shape but whomever put it out placed it upside down. My uncle mentioned it had curved legs.

I couldn't stop thinking of this dresser with curved legs and Chris agreed to go check it out with me. Well it was still there, I was so excited we threw in the truck and got out of there as the owners were pulling out of their driveway. This is what she looked like. The top drawers were missing but at first I thought I could put baskets in the drawers place. But my aunt Karen suggested cutting the dresser down, brilliant why hadn't I thought of that.

After a few days of subtle hinting Chris finally began working on it.

A little paint and distressing, but it still needed something else. I really wanted to do the number thing but decided to add to it.

un, deux, trois...what do you think? I think it turned out lovely! (I haven't taken French since high school so I hope my numbers are right)

Please go visit the others.

If I didn't live alllll the way over on the other side of the country, I'd come right over and try to get you to sell it to me! Love your signs... and your blog! (: Vicki
