I picked up this cheese dome pedestal thing at the thrift store. I was very 1980. I painted the base white, spray painted the tile black and added a cute little key. Now it is 2010.

This cute little birdie sits inside.
He is a sneak peak at one of the sewing tables that I am working on. As you can see we didn't redesign the inside as the sewing machine is going back in. This will make a great display piece for a sewing room, actually I believe the machine still works so it could be a pretty functional piece.

    Love your cloche, Christina! I'd be sewing up a storm {just like I used to years ago} if I had a sewing table that looked like that!
