Parisian Reproduction

While surfing through my favorite blogs the other day, Brocantess was showing photos of her beautiful home. She has this silk banner she brought home from France, I fell in love with it. I decided to recreate this using some of my favorite materials, an old frame, wood and paint.
I had this old chippy gold paint that worked perfectly. Similar yet different.
Just love this frame.

    I saw that post and fell in love with that banner, too. You've captured the essence of it beautifully! I'm a big fan of gesso frames in any condition. They have such character!
