End Table

I came across this end table. I loved the legs and carved detail. The price was right, FREE. It knew it had great potential. This is exactly how I got it, there was no top. Fine with me. I had a crate that would make the perfect top.

I cut the crate up to fit, stained the top and painted the table.

Love it! I took these pictures today while it looks nice out it was actually in the thirties and had just started to sleet/snow. Gotta love upstate New York!

Opening Day

We had the first game of the season yesterday.Makayla had 2 great hits,
it was a beautiful night for a game.

Take a look at the old truck/suitcase someone gave me.
Isn't it great! I opened it outside to take a picture, I had no idea all this was in there.

I have the elevator space at The Shops at 25 West for the month of May. I kept it simple.
Remember the dresser I had to paint inside because the weather would not coopereate? This is that dresser.I love how it turned out!

Window Art

As you all may or may not know I LOVE windows, I can't help myself. In fact yesterday I picked up 7 more. I could have grabbed more as it was trash day in a local town, but Chris begged me not to pick up anymore. (just for yesterday) I have been making some window art using vintage wallpaper and wrapping paper. I am pleased with how they look and I am sure they won't last long.

Beautiful Spring Day

Today was absolutely beautiful. So we picked up Great Grandma.

Hoped into the car and headed up north to our uncles farm.

We visited and played with the dogs.

Mini Dresser

I picked up this boring unloved piece of furniture.

The top is padded so I knew it would make a great piece at the foot of a bed.

Distressed black paint and burlap is all it took.
