Dresser Makeover

I am participating in the DIY show off today and Mustard Seed Feature Friday and Link Party.

I found this dresser on someones curb, for free! It is in excellent condition but lacked any style or character. A little paint made all the difference.

I combined my two favorite things diamonds and the fleur de lis.

I think it looks 100% better, what do you think?

Please go check out all the other wonderful makeovers or enter your own.

By the way did you see the amazing vintage lamp from India. I love it! I picked it up at The Shops at 25 West.

  1. Ahhh I LOVE it…that would look great in my craft room. Well lest say my craft room that I’ve decorated in my head. Right now it’s just an empty room with plastic table piled high with crafts.

  2. That dresser is fabulous, you did an awesome job. A piece like that would probably sell in a specialty store for $300. What room did you put it in?

  7. I would say 150% better, not 100%! :-) It's beautiful and I love the detail that you added.

  8. I love the design you painted on the front. It really breaks up the size of the piece, that could've easily looked like a big box. Really nice job and thanks for linking up!

  10. Now, that I've stopped hyperventilating from seeing my two favorite designs in one project . . .I'm sure you have the talent for this to begin with, but was it difficult to do the diamond pattern? I have a smaller chest ~ 3 drawers ~ in my entry foyer that I would love to do a black and white diamond pattern {similar to the chest I have on my blog sidebar}.
