All work and no play...

I transformed this basic wood desk into something that I wouldn't mind working on. (sorry forgot the before picture, I am so out of it without my camera)
Two little birdies are a sweet surprise on the side.

Another sign done! I have big plans to get a lot accomplished this long weekend, lets hope I stay motivated!

Rustic Charm

This will be a great Christmas present for a camping family! Went for a rustic look with the bark still on.Sure hope they enjoy it for years to come!

Sign Madness

I am getting lots of orders for the Holidays and a few for some local businesses. I find myself a bit overwhelmed, but in a good way! One down...12 to go!

Window Art

I have been trying to use up some of my window stash. (I think I may have a problem I can't pass up a free window, LOL)

This time I pained on burlap it fits perfectly with this chippy frame!

Secretary

Sure wish I had one, then MAYBE I could find my before picture. Remember the dresser/secretary I picked up off the curb? I know I still can't believe someone threw this away! The mirror finally got re attached and a fresh coat of paint. I am so pleased with the way it turned out!

Basket Raffle

If you are local, the Remington Craft Fair is going on tomorrow at the high school. The Field Hockey team will be selling raffle tickets for this basket. Lots of goodies, a flame less candle, tarts, candles, coffee mug, seeds, handmade labels, a Christmas sign, picture frame and lots of other goodies. Stop by and check it out!

Dresser

Remember the estate sale I spoke about before? I picked up this dresser there too. We had to carry it down two flights of stairs and boy was it heavy. Obviously in need of a fresh look too.

Here is the after...gone are the stickers and shelf liner paper on the top. Fresh paint and a new lease on life!

Mirror Image

While at Marshells the other day I found two chandelier decals on clearance. They were cute so I picked them up. I didn't want to put it on the wall so I attached one to an old mirror I had.

Love how it turned out, what do you think?

Congratulations Varsity Field Hockey!

Here are the senior girls, today was their last official game. The had a great run and were Champions in their division this year!

We were up at 4:30 am to make the team breakfast before they went out to play their sectional game. Unfortunately they lost but they had a GREAT year. I am so proud of Kimberly and the team! After six years of watching Field Hockey it has come to an end. I still don't understand the game, LOL
